Galina Khmeliva will be the speaker at the Carmel Crafts Guild regular meeting. She will be speaking on the history of Orenburg lace.
Sunday January 18 Galina will be giving an all-day workshop entitled Spinning & Plying for Orenburg Lace, followed by an all-day workshop Monday January 19 entitled The Fundamentals of Orenburg Knitted Lace. The exact cost for the workshop is still being determined depending on the number of students and other expense. The estimated cost is between $75 - $90 per workshop.
CNCH Judges
Are you a craft judge or do you know of one? CNCH is building a resource for the Conference of Northern California Handweavers and Guilds of California to assist in locating craft judges for events such as county fairs, exhibitions, and craft shows.
