Who
We are open to everyone – you do not have to be a shepherd, chef, or artisan to find Lambtown Festival enjoyable! People from all walks of life are encouraged to explore the bounty that sheep provide for us all.
Why
As a versatile yet biodegradable fiber, wool is finding new converts in the burgeoning slow fashion and zero waste movements. In the kitchen, lamb is seeing a resurgence as a flavor forward protein. On the range, sheep help mitigate fire danger while improving pasture biodiversity. Lambtown Festival is a celebration of all of these things and much, much, more!
Weather
Lambtown Festival will take place rain or shine. While it is typically warm in Dixon in early October, we encourage you to dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Payment
You can pre-order your admission tickets online and many of the events during festival weekend are free. Most vendors accept cards but appreciate cash and the ATM on site often runs empty before the festival is over.
