The Basketry Study Group welcomes members ranging from beginners to professionals; we teach each other what we’ve learned. This includes making cordage, pine-needle baskets, and coiled baskets, as well as foraging for basketry materials.
We meet on the 4th Saturday from 1:00-3:00 at the Social Hall of Asilomar Conference Grounds; you may attend a meeting, then must join Carmel Crafts Guild to become a Basketry Study Group member.
